Problems encountered

In its early days, Axe Logistics focused on B2B. However, faced with exponential growth, the company set out to develop its B2C activities. The company’s main problem was the integration of flows (orders, stocks, notifications) between their software and those of their various customers.

Solutions by Shippingbo

The Shippingbo connector, compatible with over 100 marketplaces, 6 CMS and 35 carriers, is the answer to this problem, enabling logistics providers to link their systems with their customers’ sales sources. In other words, it no need to develop an API for each new customerthe e-merchant is automatically connected to his logistics provider! This collaboration, which takes the shape of a fulfillment strategy, should enable AXE Logistics to achieve economies of scale in its in-house IT department, and at the same time meet the demands of the market. This enhancement will also be a big step forward for e-tailers themselves, who will benefit from all the advantages of the connector, starting with omnichannel sales (i.e. selling on several marketplaces, private sales and their online store(s) at the same time). They will also be able to centralize all information flows in a single interfacewhich will be communicated directly to their logistician. Finally, they will be able to easily view the status of their orders, and track their stocks and deliveries in real time.
