Load break on shipment

Your production operators use Altior on a tablet, but your warehousemen have to use a PC to print labels on the Geodis, TNT or UPS site. This double entry is a source of address errors and wasted time. Shipping rules automate this step: the label is automatically issued as soon as the parcel is scanned or the BL validated.

Critical spare parts management (after-sales service)

In industry, a missing part can stop a production line. Your customers expect D+1 responsiveness. If your Altior stock is not synchronized in real time with your shipments, you run the risk of promising a part that’s already gone. Real-time stock management ensures that every physical movement is instantly reflected in the system, making your after-sales commitments more reliable.

Traceability of batches and serial numbers

Altior manages material traceability perfectly. But if the serial number is not scanned and linked to the carrier tracking number during shipment, you lose the specific proof of delivery. PDA picking requires the serial number to be scanned before the transport label is released, thus locking in traceability all the way to the end customer.

Optimizing transport costs

Shipping a 200kg pallet or a 2kg parcel does not require the same carrier. Leaving the choice to the operator is risky. The connector compares your negotiated rates in real time and automatically selects the cheapest or fastest carrier according to your criteria, directly from the weight and volume information provided by Altior.

Does the connector work with the SaaS version of Altior?

Yes, exclusively. As Altior is a Cloud Native ERP, our connector uses modern web APIs to exchange data quickly and securely. This means no cumbersome installation on your servers, and seamless updates as Altior evolves.

Do you manage BOMs and kits defined in Altior?

Yes. If you sell a kit made up of several items in Altior, the connector can either guide the picker to fetch the individual components (if the kit is not assembled), or manage the assembled finished product. The destocking logic adapts to your production configuration to keep your component stocks accurate.

Is it compatible with the equipment we already use (Zebra, Honeywell)?

Exactly. We partner with leading logistics equipment suppliers (such as Timcod, often cited in the Altior ecosystem). Our scanning and printing solutions are compatible with the majority of handhelds, Android PDAs and industrial thermal printers on the market.

Can we manage several production sites or depots?

Yes, the multi-warehouse solution is ideal for multi-site industrial SMEs. You can view global stock levels, transfer orders from one site to another, or ship directly from the plant concerned, while centralizing logistics management.
